About June

How I typically work
Discover
I start by listening to your users, your team, and the context your AI product or service actually operates in. Research before recommendations, always.
Define
I synthesise what I find into a clear picture of the real problem. Not the assumed one. This is where scope gets sharp, and priorities get honest.
Design
I explore solutions and prototype the ones worth testing quickly, and with real users in the room. Good ideas survive contact with people. Bad ones get caught early.
Align
I work with you to bring stakeholders with you, not along for the ride. Governance decisions, design direction, and implementation plans land better when the right people are involved before the work is done.
Deploy
I support the transition from design to live, whether that means working alongside your development team, preparing documentation, or running usability testing at the point of release.
Iterate
Launching is not finishing. I help you put the right feedback loops in place so your product improves based on what real users actually do, not what they said they would.
Why June?
I collaborate with you to ensure the products and services you deliver work for the people using them and ensure the governance is in place to back that up.
Most UX consultants do not understand AI governance. Most AI governance advisors have never tested a product with real users. June works at the intersection of both, which means your design decisions and your compliance decisions are informed by each other, not made in separate conversations.
June holds certification in ISO 42001, the international standard for AI management systems. In a landscape where regulatory scrutiny of AI is accelerating — particularly across housing, public sector, and professional services — that is not a badge. It is a working knowledge of exactly what auditors and procurement teams will ask for.
A Deloitte spend recovery tool went from 40% to 80% task completion in ten days. A Spanish-Finnish AI startup accelerated its development velocity by 6x. Editorial publishing throughput at MailOnline doubled for over 360 staff. June’s work produces numbers, not presentations.
Every large AI consultancy is optimised for enterprise clients with enterprise budgets. June is not. She works directly with SMEs, startups that need senior-level expertise without a layer of account management between them and the person doing the work.
June does not produce a report and leaves. She works alongside your team, in your context, with your constraints. Whether that is a two-week sprint or an ongoing advisory relationship, the approach is collaborative, which means the work is more likely to stick.
June includes a responsible AI clause in every client engagement as standard. She holds a documented pro-bono commitment for non-profit organisations and is working toward B Corp certification. If the way your partners operate matters to your organisation, that is worth knowing.
